I've have been a social and mental health advocate for over twenty five years.
I graduated from Fordham University, where my course of study included social issues and urban development. I received a Bachelor and Master in social work. As a Children First Scholar I was awarded the Father Joseph McCarty Award. I have been a Substance Abuse Counselor for the last 20 years.
I work with children and their respective families, senior citizens, adults and adolescents as part of my effort to serve the greater community. I've also directed outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, Senior Citizens Centers, Half-way houses, HIV-AIDS Outreach and Treatment programs.
